yes. but having used the m3800 for the last three years made me think the 7510 would have the same treatment especially when you see Full HD UlraSharp B$$t :-(

I'm talking to dell France. First call they said 'sorry we can not do anything for you'. Second call they said: 'we will see and get back to you'. so I'm waiting.

Dell accepted the return :) so back to square one. I'm ordering a new one with the IGZO high dpi screen.

Discovered a new problem. With the e-port dock, and Optimus enabled, when I take the computer off the dock and put it on later, it does not bring up the external displays. I have to reboot the machine to get them back.

I'm going to be getting one of the USB-C docks next week so I guess this problem might go away then...

Maybe first read some of the experiences with that screen in this thread... Not everyone was entirely happy with what they got.

Thanks for the tip. I will take a look at these posts. But I don't think I change my mind as I'm used to the high dpi screen of my m3800. I cannot go back to lesser resolution.

Glad you found a good screen! Seems that most resellers aren't selling "exact" models unless they specify it's exact. Overall, display shopping is pretty nightmarish, even on desktop monitors. Manufacturers will use panels interchangeably regardless of their differences as long as they satisfy their cryptic marketing terms. My main monitor I bought, after all the research I did on it, ended up having a completely different panel in it due to a silent refresh Asus did with it. It ended up working out in my case as it was better, but the fact it's almost a lottery is crazy.

At any rate, it seems LG makes the best 1080p panels for a device such as ours. Sharp makes a better one but I've only seen it in the XPS 15/5510, not sure if it could even work in our machine due to the bezel difference.
