Interesting how they're referring to the E6000 line as the "premier" series as well..I guess it's an attempt to better differentiate them from the E5000 line.

I am going to try a couple of the E6430s models if they offer the higher resolution screen because I'm willing to try the new Intel integrated graphics.....but if it just has the 1366*768, no way...

6000 series are better. They're made from better materials and have a different hinge design.

It looks like the Lenovo T430s will be the way to go for me. Dell had a great concept with the E6430s, but the horrible screen resolution and no dedicated graphics. The T430s does have the 'island keyboard, but offers the HD+ screen and the NVIDIA 5200M 1GB graphics will make up for the lousy keyboard. I hope dell upgrades their specs on this model.....

E6430 can be configured with 1600x900 screen for an extra £25, and Nvidia NVS 5200M 1GB discrete graphics for an extra £55.

Ah just seen the 's' added to each of your models.

Try waiting for the E6430u, that should tick all your boxes.

There will be a 14.0” HD+ (1600x900) Anti‐Glare LED‐backlit display option for the E6430s look under "Ask and Answer Q & A" at the link you provided.

Thank you very much, that is all I wanted! Dell gets the business - not that it's much, but 4 or 5 machines in the next 18 months....
