It really depends...it could be like the D630 motherboard, which won't fit in a D620, or like how E6410 motherboards won't fit in an E6400, so there's not much precedence for something like that to work...

I checked the E6530 on the German Dell Shop, and in the docking stations option i read
Means: Simple E-Port II and extended E-Port II.

In the US Dell Shop, the page about docking stations:
Help Me Choose: Docking Solutions | Dell
Soooo, yes, now there should be two types of E-Port -- old without and new with USB 3.0
I think, the new E-Port II won`t add USB 3.0, if used with E6x20 Latitude, because they don`t have the own USB 3.0 bus :(

That doesn't make much sense, my two year old E6410 has better technology 1440*900 resolution and dedicated nVIDIA graphics - totally a step backwards.

It's an ultrabook, so you can't compare it to the mainstream E6410. However, I agree with you on the screen...I'm probably going to be sticking with this E6410 for a while.

That page is out of date and the information is wrong. Use the current page -http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/latitude-e6430/pd

I think the E6430 and E6430s are different models...

    They are.

    E6430 - replacement for E6420.
E6430s is some kind of slimline version
    E6430u is the Ultrabook version

That link goes to the Dell page with the 6430 - not the 6430s
