I obviously need and require performance, I a strong traditional keyboard and a more conservative business look is a must for my. These new 'chicklet' keyboards aren't that easy to type on - for me anyway. Lenovo has dates and a ton of information, including release dates, for their next generation ThinkPad. Dell seems to have very little information available.

I agree; they look much better in person than in the pictures on Dell's website.

They still look a bit... I can't put my finger on it, but they don't look as nice as the EliteBook for example. Although the EliteBook is way too thick & heavy. I'd like to see Dell use some carbon fibre & brushed aluminium on the next batch. The current ones are a bit too booooooring.

Personally I like the looks of the E6400 and hoping that the newer models will be some variation of that :)

Looks like the refresh is due 5th June, details of the Latitude E6430u are on Engadget website today. The pictures look like the previous gen, so wouldn't pay too much to those. ULV isn't powerful enough for me so I'm more interested in the E6430 full-fat version :)

If the E6430u is only available in 1366X768 resolution, then FAIL. I'm so sick of that crummy resolution.

Why would they make the resolution so lousy - worse than the current E6420? That would be a major set back.
