anyone know what dell means when they say "High Performance PCIe Solid State Drive, 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe High Performance Solid State Drive"

What drive does one actually get ? Is it worth buying this drive outside of dell? I need a large mechanical drive in addition to the ssd which has to be very fast for booting and mechanical drive for actual data storage. My current xps 1702 has this.

Do you know if it's a limited use coupon? I may be ordering one later this week, I'm hoping it'll still be good then

Try it without actually checking out your shop cart to view the details of the discount. Yes it should work for you. I'm in the USA so I'm not sure of other regions.

the "High Performance" PCIe NVMe is the SM951 and is the higher performing OEM. The non "high performance" is the PM951. The consumer equivilent of the SM951 is the PM950 Pro and is less money if purchased outside of Dell. It also lists higher speeds than either of the OEMs.

When did you order your TB3 7710 and is it in pre-production or production? When is the expected delievery date?

I only ask because my TB3 7510 is still in pre-production but is listed as 3/1 delievery date but I feel 3/1 is coming up quick.

I assume you are using European date format and that your date is March 4th?
I wonder if my order is in preproduction because they're trying to gather the Xeon 1505M to be used. It's a newly offered CPU. What CPU did the two of you order? I highly doubt that my order arrives tomorrow, which could mean the two of you see delays as well...
