M6600 and M6700 touchscreens are TN panels.

Was it made with Gorilla Glass?

-- Seems it was, just trying to find out if it's any new technology or last year's one.

I think only the M6700 covet has gorilla glass. (Not sure if they offered a touchscreen on that model.)

Apparently the AMD graphics card option in M4800 is called M4100, not M5100 as some sources say, including Dell Germany. AMD has released today a press note about these new cards and says M4100. But I could not gather info about the specs like how many stream processors it has. I chatted with US Dell sales representative and answered "just one". LOL

How long was it until all options were available after the M6700 launch? Looking to configure an M6800 with the i7-4900MQ and Quadro K3100M.

    The manual is available.
Manualsand Documents for Precision M6800 | Dell US

There are some pictures of the internals. Switched up a little from M6700. Specifically, the mini-PCIe slots are shuffled around, but it appears that all of them are still present.

Again confirms switchable graphics for AMD, they call it "AMD Power Express".
It doesn't look like there's a standalone bluetooth adapter. Might be rolling it into the mPCIe WiFi card? (Since some of the ones listed in the tech specs include bluetooth.)
A feature called "Peak shift" which lets you configure the system to run on battery power during certain times of the day/week. (Don't remember seeing this before.)

Well, as always Dell is giving a big middle finger to Canadians: base price of the M4800 on the US site: ~1250$, base price of the M4800 on the Canadian webstite ~2030$. It's nothing new, but it always annoys the heck out of me. Oh well, if I ever decide to get a brand new Precision, I'll call and haggle to get at least a price comparable to the US.

Currently all the options are locked in tiers. 4800mq + qhd + nivida is just south of 2k, so Probably 1.5k? if config properly + haggle.

M4100 sound really crap compare to m5100 ~~

Have you ever tried that and succeeded? Cuz I never had luck with Canadian reps. Only later on, when the prices go down, you could probably use one of them 30% discounts and then maybe haggle to get an extra 5% off through a business channel. On the positive side, we still have the financing options with Dell unlike with Hp and Lenovo.
