    Hi.
    I am using my M6500 for some CAD work and I was wondering which drivers are the best for the FX3800m with games.
    I now that the Quadro's are not that fond for gaming.Are there any gamers around using "special" nvidia drivers?

    Is anyone using the Intel Wireless 6300? If so, what issues if any have you seen and are there drivers on the Dell website to support it?

    I've used the 6300 for over a year, and only the driver from the intel sites works. Not exactly sure why. But no problems whatsoever.

    When I setup fingerprint on my laptop, I have to upgade ControlVault, but I don't know what's password I have to put in that?

    1. What's password I have to put into "CV Admin Password"?
    2. What's password I have to put into "Owner Password"?

    FYI anyone w/ pointing stick issues... they sent a new keyboard and suddenly all the pointing stick options appeared in the touchpad properties. Go figure

    Yeah. I think so. Trackpoint on the keyboard is now inactive. I also think this might be the issues that led to conflict with the fingerprint.
    Dellsupport will send a new keyboard and replace it for me on next week. Hope fingerprint will be ok.

    just spotted this, if it hasent been remadied allready its a graphics card fault. Had exactly the same thing happen to mine 12 months ago. Works fine on battery but on mains its crashes. It works on battery because on battery the graphics are throttled back power wise whilst on mains they are at full power, I remeber downloading a bit of software that confirmed the graphics cards power settings but I forget its name now.

    They sent out 3 replacment power supplies before finally replacing the graphics card and all heatsinks.
