I expect so, but maybe if I started there and worked down...? I wonder if there's anywhere does part exchange, like with cars?

I have the same problem with my U2711. Computer wakes up from sleep fine if using the computer monitor, when the computer is docked and I am using my U2711 I always shut the computer completely down and when I turn the computer back on the U2711 comes up fine.

I've got U2410 I think it is....no problems with that particular one. Oh, the M6500 "still" rules ;)

    Hi,
Anyone know how to get the double-click action on the touchpad to turn on or if it is a driver issue. I re-installed Windows 7 ultimate last night. For some reason the double-click when trying to select something does not work, I have to press with my thumb the return on the touch pad.

You need to install the synaptics driver provided from Dell:

Which PSU is better - the big (standard) or the slim one? I don't mind weight and size.
What I understand the big is 210W and the slim is 240W. I am thinking of buying 920xm and oc it @ 3.2ghz. Also want to oc the gpu 850/1100. I don't know if 210W is enough.

Wait really? The slim has more watts than the ginormous brick one?

    PS: Confirmed on 850/1100 :D

You will need to crank the voltage to 1.15v though.

    Nice :)

What I understand I need to modify the vbios.
Could you write a small guide how to do it. What download, modify etc.
    Thanks.

imo 740qm is weak for m7820/5870m. 920xm would be perfect. But it costs a lot of $.
I have also tried to oc 740qm with setfsb aplication, but I couldn't find the clock generator for m6500 :(

I will get to it tonight and the i7-740QM is still a big upgrade coming from an i5-560M though...
