Thanks for your reply! I tried the search (extensively :) ) function and managed to find LG_Nvidia Profiles.zip. Even though the LG was measured with the nVidia and another profiler, they look quite similar to the ones I measured un-tweaked.

    Then I found this:

    Are these from the Samsung?

Has anybody successfully used 10-bit monitor support with the ATI graphics cards?

My system has the ATI M7740, and the last time I tried to activate 10-bit support in Catalyst Control Center (with the original drivers) the system "blue screened" on me and I had to roll back to a previous system backup to recover. So, I'm a bit leery to try this again.

I've updated to the latest ISV drivers for the ATI on the Dell site, but still a little hesitant to try 10-bit support unless others report some success. (I wonder if it is because I didn't have a 10-bit capable monitor connected via displayport when I activated the option?)

Anybody having success with 10-bit graphics?

Keith, tried to update the M7820 A01 (8.743), it works for your M7740.

Thank you. I may do that if I find myself using a program that can use OpenCL or some of the other enhancements.

Have you tried running 10-bit graphics with your ATI system?

Thank you. The internal display doesn't support 10-bit, but connecting to an external monitor that supports 10-bit through displayport should all but eliminated banding when working with 16-bit files in Photoshop. (Although I don't really see an issue with that when working on "real world" images. I only see banding when viewing the test images that are designed to show banding :) )

    Thanks again,

I may try updating drivers when my 10-bit capable external monitor (NEC PA241) arrives.

Display port to HDMI adapter or cable.

    About £7 on amazon.

I have a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter which works great for me.

By default the screen on the TV (FullHD) had a black border and shrinked the 1920*1080 pixels down to something like 1800*1000. I had to disable overscanning in the ATI display driver settings to have it use the full 1920*1080 then everything was displayed at the correct size without any zooming.
