He added the 3800M to the 195.81 video card driver, since I don't think that driver natively supports the 3800M.

That is correct. I added the 3800M info to the nvdm.inf file since it did not include it. I think the Dell driver is 187.xx and a lot of nice driver updates have happened since then.

Skypx - Pics are incoming. Trying to get everything set up here.

Also, mine DID come with the caddy for the 2nd hard drive and all of the mounting screws and adapters.

So you found Lucas to be helpful then... hopefully he treated you well and was professional? So to answer your previous question, yes canceling your order should have been worth it hopefully. Relationships are what it's all about, I have contacts with thousands of people all over the world and that's what keeps me in business even in bad times. Solid positive relationships. Good luck with the wait, not bad really.

Interesting thing about the i7-920XM processor...

Running simultaneous large exports from Adobe Lightroom, all 8 virtual CPU cores (4 cores + 4 hyper theading virtual cores) are all maxed out at 100% cpu load, but the Intel Turbo Boost Technology Monitor desktop gadget shows the processor still overclocking to 2.23ghz.

Encoding h.264 video from Adobe Premier manages to slow it down to 2.13ghz under a full CPU load.

Not bad since the default clock is supposed to be 2.0ghz when all 4 cores are running. This processor is a monster :)

I think its just about right as it is a 2/2/8/9 Turbo setup processor and not 1/../../.. setup processor. and yes it is a monster :D .

skypx - I'm glad the new rep is better than the old one :), if you are getting yours around the 25th mean i should expect mine around the same time.

    Hi Boken,

If you really want to see what is going on behind the CPU’s download,
And install Process Explorer, by Mark Russinovich. And checkout the rest
Of Marks site, you will learn about windows internals.

First go to your D: drive, make a New Folder name it Sysinternals, download Process Explorer, to that folder open the Sysinternals folder

Right-click the zipped up Process Explorer folder and extract all files to the Sysinternals folder.

Go into the newly created Process Explorer folder and right-click procexp.exe and send a copy to your desktop

Boken, dud post some Pictures of your M6500, for thus of use waiting for are M6500
