    Indeed.

By contrast, my buying decision was simple.

    It's orange.

I have the 64GB SSD in the primary HDD bay (for Windows and essential apps), whereas I use my 640GB HDD in the second bay for storage and Linux.

Not as replacement part? That's a bit of a shame.. I like it, even if it *was* a little expensive ;)

    Good day notebook review

I normally change my notebook every 6 months, selling it for almost what I paid for it.

Unfortunately there seems to be nothing better on the market than the M6500.

I was looking at the Envy 17 with baited breath but that doesn't have a mark on the M6500.

Are there any new super fast CPU's on the way or funky new 17 inch desktop replacements?

It actually can be done. I have seen it done by our in-house repair shop. These people actually care about their work.

Dell should have better standards in place for their on-site repair people. If someone consistently gets complaints from customers, fire their .

Of course. 740QM/840QM/940XM are coming in Q3, I've read.

Hey I have a question perhaps very silly...but please do answer...

Say I take M6500 with WUXGA.... and later want to upgrade to RGBLED... can I do that or should I have to buy a new one??

Can anyone tell me how I can confirm that I have usb 3.0 on my M6500?

I don't have a USB 3.0 device to plug in yet...

    Thanks!

You might want to ask in the right thread.

They are blue instead of black. I posted pics of them earlier in the thread.
