I don't want to go for the high end models (I'm fine with the i3 model) but I do want to add a third party WWAN card.

Is there a free mini PCIexpress port on the Vosotro V131? If not, how do they put WWAN in those models who have it? Is there a WWAN/WiFI/BT card?

Hello! I registered here just moments ago since i wanted to ask you about the V131.

I'm thinking about buying the i3 version and adding 8Gb of RAM and an SSD. Most things I've seen of the V131 seems to match my needs perfectly but I have two questions.

    1. Can the i3 version handle 1080p content (youtube/vlc) perfectly? That's pretty much the highest performance I will need so if it handles that, It can handle the other things I plan on running on it.

    2. Is there any battery available that is completely integrated into the laptop body? I would really like a 3/4 cell or something equal that I can fit without the bulb beneath the laptop as I find it annoying.

    Thanks in advance, olger.

1 - A really slow portege from 2008 can play 1080p flash content and that has a lowly core 2 duo 1.2Ghz cpu. ALL Core i3/i5/i7 processors will play HD media.

2 - There will eventually be a 4 cell flush battery available for the V131

There doesn't seem to be an mSata port inside of my v131.
