For the 7510 and 7710, Thunderbolt is optional and will not be available on the systems until a few months after launch.

Strange that it's available in the 5510, but not for its "bigger brothers".

I had some money saved to upgrade to M4900 but... I think I'll stay with my beloved M4700. New Precisions look like random consumer laptops, do not look professional anymore. Chiclet layout? Come on!

I don’t think you need to try the keyboard specifically on the new Precisions. I would reckon that chiclets on any post-Haswell high-end Latitude would have identical feel.
Comparably, the keyboard used in M4800 is the same part (I believe) as the one in Latitude of the same size and generation (E6540).

Based on what the service manual says, it looks like the m7510 uses MXM 3.0a for its gpu.

Any chance of upgrading an m4800 gpu to an m2000m? :) (I know it's not very likely, but just thought I'd ask...)

    Actually... This should work fine.
There are two other threads on this board with people reporting success sticking a M5000M in the M6700. Looks like the upgrade went with no issues, except maybe you have to be using UEFI boot.
No one has tried the lower GPUs yet as far as I know, but if M5000M in M6700 works, M2000M in M4800 is looking pretty good.
