What version driver is everyone using on their k4100m? Tried installing 377.11 and get a failed installation even after a clean driver uninstall. I see windows has a update to the same driver has anyone tried updating the driver thrrough windows? BTW I am running win 7 pro.

Mine isn't a touchscreen, just a regular FHD TN panel.

I have Nvidia driver version 376.84. Windows 10 (x64 1703) Device Manager shows 21.21.13.7684 (6th Feb 2017), no newer Windows Updates are shown.

In case of problems with Nvidia drivers you might in addition test updated or even older Intel HD 4600 drivers. Not all combinations of Intel and Nvidia GPU drivers seem to coexist flawlessly.

My main problem on Win10 (both 1703 and 1607) was to get the intel hd4600 and k4100m drivers working with two external WUXGA displays (DisplayPort and/or DVI from E-Dock). My working Intel driver is 20.19.15.4483 while Intel download and Windows update gave me version 4501 which could only output on one of two external displays (tried DP and DVI variations) but Win10 showed 5 or 6 displays in its display config app, no idea what those should be, maybe some E-Port connector artifacts. Connecting 1x DP and 1x VGA activated both displays - but I do not want external displays over VGA ;-) Did not try the latest Intel 4624, to keep my system working ;-)

Do you have Hyper-V activated/installed by chance? Some "ghost" displays show up, originating from the Intel GPU, if later versions of the Intel GPU driver are combined with Hyper-V.

Yes, I use Hyper-V for my dev&test VMs.

Seems a good habit to keep all the older driver packages.
Thanks again that you recommended an older WLAN driver to me earlier. That stopped random BSODs when sharing WLAN into the VMs :)

Hey guys - M6800 has a slight dent in the screen lid - it's slightly embarrassing to bring it to client meetings - got a spare M6600 lid - does anyone know if it will fit?

Hello. I am on buying used M6800 and have got three questions. The SSD SM841 and PM841 mounted in M6800 by Dell, was it Samsung 840 EVO or 840 PRO equivalent? And is it true that all Nvidia heatsinks mounted in M6800 will fit all Nivida graphic card ( I want to buy M6800 with K3100M and am curious if I can upgrade it wiht M3000M or GTX970M or even with GTX880M using my old heatsink )? And the last question is, how thick are thermpads on heatsink for Nvidia cards? Is it 0,5mm, 1mm or 2mm?

It won't fit. The width of hinge is different. M6800 has wider hinge
