Not yet that I know of. I didn't expect they would have changed that much since the m6700 which was plug and play compatible. Which leads me to another possibility.
I imagine that you have the latest vbios for the card from dell?
And I imagine that there is no graphics support when you switch out of optimus.
The only other thing that comes to mind was 2-3 generations ago the AMD 6000m series graphics cards would not have all their features enabled (among other issues) when used in a computer manufactured by a different company, regardless of vbios, IE Dell card in Clevo computer.

It is possible that your MSI card is experiencing the same issue. Unfortunately I can't test that theory as I don't have a Dell Card or an m6800 yet to test it.

I have swap vga card for 680m 2gb of course msi. It is ok now with installing driver but... performance is very low . Vga card works only @ 135MHz on gpu. Dell precision is crap!

Disabled Optimus in bios gives full power :) but no Optimus :(. Any ideas?

I think that is exactly the case, there aren't too many owners of the m6800. The fact that you couldn't configure them right away and only had cookie cutter versions for the first several months really cut into the consumer side sales.

The only reason that I decided to go for the m6800 was that it was cheaper than the m6700.

That is why this thread has only 38 pages dominated by a few people, and the m6700 has well over 200.

But what did you finally do to get the 780m working?

As for the volume, brightness, on the m6700 I believe it was called ControlPoint. I don't know what it is called on the m6800.

Dell is upgrading me to an M6800 form a M6700 (ips screen). I am just wondering about the touch screen they have offered me? Is the screen glass? Gorilla glass? If anyone could post a pic of the M6800 touch screen that would be great. Very interested in the glare/ build quality. I know that the touch screen won't compete with the ips.

I will have one arriving in a few days.
There is no contest for the IPS screen, it is amazing.
The touch screen version is pictured in the m6800 video on youtube.
New Dell Precision M4800 and M6800 Mobile Workstations - YouTube. Notice the glass surface. Apparently it has anti glare properties/coating, But it will definitely be more glare-y than the matt screens that we are used to.

On the flip side, you gain about 3 hours in battery life.
