There should be a sticker inside the battery compartment containing the Windows 7 Pro product key.

The m6800 has no windows 7 key.

Its a 'downgrade' from windows 8.

You can use the included win 7 disc to instal 7 and activate it.

Hi, there is some difference in heatsinks, but at least on the M6700 I have installed Kepler cards (670MX, 680M) with the AMD heatsink and they are well cooled, all the parts properly covered etc.

Of course, a new x-bracked will be needed (but I assume you have plenty of nVidia brackets already:)).

All the NVidia cards from kepler used in these computers have the same pattern.

If you look at the Nvidia and AMD cards themselves, the differences may be within the height of the components on the board themselves, not the pattern, This was the case with the m6700 and thus one just had to make sure that the screws were torqued only so far to ensure proper contact over the CPU. Different thermal interface material might need to be used for the ram and other modules on the card to ensure that they are cooled as well.

But for all that trouble one might as well just order the Nvidia GPU heatsink. They are back ordered as of this post, but are only $20 plus tax stateside.
The m6100 (near 770m performance) should be adequate for gaming needs until it arrives. The price per performance of this card is amazing by the numbers although I haven't seen its performance in games. That will change soon as I am about to perform the same upgrade.

In regards the picture you probably need to load the Dell Vbios

Hmm, do you have the latest Bios (motherboard)?
What does GPU-z say about the vbios?
Is the computer set to "optimus" mode?
Have you actually tried to game with it yet?

The whitelist may mean that it is not recognized properly but that does not entirely preclude it from working properly
