It's great someone else has video jitter at least from a "is it my machine" standpoint.

Youtube never jitters for me, however any time there is a video that using the jwplayer flash player or certain others I get horrible jitter, mostly when maximized.

Not in IE though... so give that a try and see if its exactly the same issue.

I tried IE and there still was a bit of a jitter, could it be the version of jwplayer flash? I updated to the latest version (10...). Also is there a way to change the login so I don't have to type the user name everytime I start the system up?

Press WIN+R to get the run window. In there type "Control userpasswords2" without quotes.

Then uncheck the box highlighted in the picture attached.

I don't know. I've used the Dell drivers and reference drivers for the AMD card, I'm pretty certain it's an AMD issue as if you mess with the settings in Catalyst you can reduce the jitter.

I think most people would not notice this issue as its only fullscreen non youtube video via flash causing it.

E-port plus is the same for M6400/M6500/M6600 but the M6600 has USB 3.
When M6600 is docked will the USB ports on the E-port plus function as USB 2 or USB 3 ?

USB 2.0. You need a controller on the dock that manages USB 3.0 in order to be a USB 3.0 port. Therefore, most E-Docks right now still doesn't have that said controller built in for the USB 3.0 compatibility.

After reading your discussion about this, I went online to try some FHD full screen video on Vimeo. I hadn't messed around with videos yet on my new machine, so I wanted to know if it affected me as well since I am rather sensitive to it (drives me nuts when streaming Netflix on my living room projector, but my wife and friends can't see it at all). It definitely jitters, almost as much as my 5 year old laptop, which is really disappointing because I was hoping to put that problem behind me with the new laptop. I don't get it.

I've got an M4600 with a Quadro 2000M, so it would seem that it isn't isolated to AMD. I also tried IE instead of Firefox. It was better, but still jittered a bit. I might try installing the non-Dell video drivers later.

So what you're saying is that Dell is 'apparently' selling a compatible E-port plus docking station for the M6600 but it is not fully compatible because USB 3 is not supported, and one would need to buy a new docking station when it has USB 3. Correct?

Unless Dell just released a new E-Port Plus just for the M6600, then the one that they are selling from the M6400-era doesn't have USB 3.0. I just checked Dell's website and the one they are selling for the M6600 still looks like the old one that I am using for my M6600 right now and I know that dock doesn't have USB 3.0.

So in terms of your question, yes you need a dock that has USB 3.0 and the E-Dock Plus that I see on their site is not.

My m6500 has USB 3.0...what about that era? I'd never looked at them though.
