Does anyone know if you can drive a 3840x2160 @ 60hz display from a m6600 via its display port? I have a m6100 AMD graphics card. Thanks in advance.

The Bonaire GPU in the M6100 does support 4K 60Hz so if m6600 has a DP1.2 there is no reason why it shouldn't support it.

    Hi there :)

I need to know something and this litle thread is my only hope to get some informations:
    Can I use a NVidia Quadro K5100M 4GB (N15E-Q3-A2) Graphic Adapter in a M6600?

When you check eBay you will find a lot of people who are offering this adapter for the M6600. I know that you can by the M6800 from Dell with this adapter.
    Anybody did try it?

What makes me confusing is that the K5100M Card has 100W while all original Dell Cards for the M6600 have 75W.
Even when the cooler is able to transport the heat away there may still be the problem that the K5100 is a 4GB Card, what will mean that the RAM is on Top and Bottom of the Board. Does the RAM not need any cooling?
And when all this does fit: How is the chance that the BIOS will detect the card and work with it?

    greetings from Germany ... :)

    Hi heavykick,
Yes let's work together and see if we are able to make it work!
I run the dell system diagnostic and it seem ok, when graphic card test run it say "passed".
I use win 7 pro... i've also tried to run in safe with VGA but nothing help always stuck in the win logo.
can't boot from the windows CD it will block when "loading files"...
i think it's necessary to do the vbios update in my case... but don't know how...

    Hi,

I did find bios roms at https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/.
I found GPU-Z as tool to flash, but this tool is running under windows, so i am still a little bit confused.
For my card they also have only a ROM for Dell K5100 8GB ... this is the only rom for my card ...

I did find a sticke on my card with the bios revision ...

thats what i did figure out until now ... :p

I think there are aces and dell bioses ... my be also schenker/XMG labels ...
I am not shure if we can flash the bios ... :(

But may be my works, I did not try yet ...
