I picked one of these up off Ebay for 475$, Mine is coming with 8gb of ram and a 2820QM, quadro 3000m gpu. I have another 8gb of ram for it to make it 16, and then that machine will be plenty for me. Im a software coder, and network engineer, Im already using the e6420, and the cpu is plenty, just the gpu and ram are not.
I want to get the dell wireless 5808 too, then it will always be connected, which is what I need. I cant wait to get the machine

Yes, I will be using my 128GB samsung 830 from my e6420, I'm removing the 8gb of ram from it as well as the 1TB hdd, and Ill move the 500 gig it comes with to the optical bay, since I have an external blu ray writer I will be using for any optical tasks. Mine has the backlit keyboard too!

I just received my K5000m today and I immediately install it to my M6600, however I have faced a Optimus issue when I enable the Optimus in BIOS, I can boot and get into windows with Optimus disabled (with dedicated GC k5000m) when I enable the optimus in bios, after restart, it freeze in the dell logo screen (I assume it fail the boot test).

Any solution for this? I thought optimus works in M6600 with K5000m.

So the M6100 finally arrived today from Canada. I installed it and now I am back in business. I really liked the Intel processor. It was very snappy, but now I can use my external HDTV. Thanks again for everyone's help. This place is a great resource.
