Its just a TV, so I am not worried about HD content its just to allow me to show some stuff off to a group, vs having everyone crowd around my Laptop.

The easy to access ports on the TV are RCA Vid/Audio and Svid. On the back I can get to component inputs, it is just more of a hassle to mess with for something I maybe doing once a month.

Anyone know if the card reader is routed using usb2 or something else, and what is the speed limit.

Got a camera and some higher speed memory card on Thanksgiving, I feel guilty letting my premier color showing spreadsheet and documents all day long.

The card reader for the M6700 is PCI-E, so I would venture that it is the same for the 6600.

By the way, the one on the M6700 which is very likely the same reader can do 75 MB/s at least, may be capable of more, but testing with a decent microSD, 75 MB/s is what got.

Well, then you will likely get 90 MB/s when the stars are aligned and the wind is pushing the data in the right direction, only on sequential reads too.

Seriously, you should be able to get decent transfer rates out of it even if you may not get the full 90 MB/s.

managed to brick the videocard currently installed in the M6600 (a 7970M) after a procedure I have done countless times before. no booting at all, so no blind flash. does anyone know if the notebook will boot without a videocard (empty mxm slot)?

my ssd is passworded and I need to remove the pwd (and it can only be removed on another Dell machine), so I need to get into the bios.

    Yes.
He will work with Intel's graphics (built into CPU).

    Best Regards,
    Alex.
