Mine also came upside down for some reason. And also yeah, a dell rep hung up on me yesterday while on the phone about the quality of the laptop I received..

I just sent Mano, the dell rep here, the chat log. The one I'm having problems with is the "Outlet-previously ordered new"
Our refurb M6600 is fine, so far, and with the quad core i7-2820, 256GB SSD, 8gb ram, backlit keyboard, 1080 touch screen, a very good deal at 1000.00 delivered.

Here's my first post on my Dell chat session :
"Hello. We purchased two of these M6600. One, the touch screen works OK. A light touch moves windows around. The other, a very hard touch is required. Too hard. And a small icon of a mouse appears on the screen next to the touch point. They also shipped both of these laptops upside down, so they rode here in the box with the weight on the lid. "

Now, the Dell servcie rep says further down that he still does not understand what problem I'm having.I felt like I was on the TV show candid camera....

Why is the Intel® Core™ i7-2720QM (Quad Core 2.20GHz,6M cache) with Turbo BoostTechnology 2.0 [Included in Price]

    more expensive than the

    Intel® Core™ i7-2760QM (2.40GHz, 6M cache) with Turbo BoostTechnology 2.0 [subtract $199.00]

Ryan, that doesn't sounds right. I never had any problem with my either. Check out this detailed doc if you are doing a fresh install - Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]. Which is the same as following Bokeh's simplified install sequence for your video. I only used drivers that are released by Dell. I know sometimes you can get latest driver directly from nVidia.

My Optimus switching has been perfect and never once BSOD. That includes HOT plugging in two external LCD into HDMI and DP!

Badgerballs, Yes. SATA II for mSATA. Look at these two posts in this same thread prior:
    1. http://forum.notebookreview.com/7946261-post1742.html
    2. http://forum.notebookreview.com/7605871-post222.html

I was hoping the mSATA port is SATA III too for future update - When I need the two bays for traditional 7200rpm data drives.

Others in this forum who has the mSATA can probably answer if there is any REAL WORLD performance difference between a SATA II (mSATA) vs SATA III for OS drive purposes. I know for transferring large size/volume data file(s), there is a difference.

Yep that's buggered things up a bit. I suspect there will be a real world difference as I have just replaced our scan 3XS Workstation Vertex 2 with a SataIII 256 Corsair and it boots in just 10 secs. A significant difference across the board as well including MAX rendering times.

Don't be surprised with that it's the norm. They usually disappear after each question for 10 to 15 mins and then come back and say "Now what exactly are you asking Sir". Mind you if you are buying something you will get all the correct answers. I asked if I could buy a backlit keyboard after my system had been built and this guy said "No". Then a young girl said ring the parts department, which I did. Then after I ordered and paid for it the guy who said "No" emailed me asking the name of the girl that said Yes. I reckon he has put out a Dell contract on her.:D
