I know but he has to call tech support anywayz about a chassis damage issue(caused by the first tech i had over) He'll be here tomorrow morning. 21:46 now already so he'll never have the parts in time.....maybe when they come to replace the chassis he could bring the other stuff with him.

But seriously....if after the mobo, the chassis AND gpu need to be replaced i will definetly ask for a system swap....really don't wanna go through all this :(

Testing with the A03 bios and so far so good.

Ran farcry last night and was getting 100+ FPS and after a while went to 20 testing now and getting 100+ for some time now. Will report later.

    As i thought/hoped....good results with A03!!

I'm getting a complete new system. The tech guy didn't even want to start on the mobo if there was a chance the chassis had to be replaced too. He called Dell and told them they needed to send a new laptop :D Good riddens!!

    hy guys !

i saw all of you dosn't happy because the M4400 is hot, downclock during games ! But the M4400 is not designed to game but for 2S/3D application !

i would have the results of a person which could do a 3D rendering test of 1h or 6H to estimate the M4400.

    Hi Danao,

Don't know if there would be a difference and besides, eventhough the drivers are aimed at 3d/CAD work it should handle games easily.

Did a lot of rendering but nothing up 'till now that took hours. Most stuff i do is static scenes and no animation...and even with those scenes i just use Mental Ray and not V-Ray which would make it need hours to render.

I'm not too worried about it though, the problem is known by now and should be resolved in a BIOS update. Problem doesn't exist in older ones so shouldnt be too hard to fix, right?

Now let's see how fast they are with the system swap ;)

using the systool and setting up the same frequency for all the profiles there is downclock ... there is a risk of overheating

    thank you LPTP-LVR !
shall you do a big render in (like 4000x3000) to make the render longer?
