That has been there since 2nd week of December. Latest info I got from our new rep is we should be able to configure/order on premier site by end of the month.

What is the problem with the E7440 trackpad compared to the XPS one?
I tried trackpad without physical buttons (like XPS but i don't remember the model) and i was not happy with that. Perhaps because I'm not used with that...

    YESSSSSS

    Nvidia® GeForce® 840M

    Confirmed!!!!!

I also notice from the photos that they've switched to a chicklet style keyboard and tiny tiny arrow keys. The size and weight are the same though. Also I am not clear on if they switched to m.2 or kept mSATA, I can't see in the documentation anywhere about it anyway.

I tried the XPS and Inspiron 13 7000 trackpads and those are way smoother than my E7440. It's not about the buttons, mostly about the two finger scrolling. The scrolling with E7440 is just too lagging. I have updated the latest driver version from Alps but the issue still persists. Maybe I am just too sensitive...

Looks like 2x m.2 (probably the short one :( ... - from PDF
    "E-Dock: 2 M.2 expansion slots: 1 WWAN/SSD and 1 WLAN/BT/WiGig "

EDIT: It has the same wwan as Venue 11 PRO (DW5808e) which is 42mm. So it looks like 256G disks like ADATA Premier Pro SP900 M.2 2242 or Transcend MTS400 are possible to use.

Is the battery for the new 7250/7450 removable (like how they are removable on the e6430 by flipping the little external lock buttons on the bottom)? I couldn't tell from the pictures or descriptions. Thanks!

Update: Confirmed it is removable/swappable! "A business-class ISO keyboard with a backlit option lets you work in low-light environments while a swappable battery keeps you powered up on the go."

I'll be ordering this puppy soon! :)

Yes they are removeable, and slightly larger than the old capacities, something like 10% larger wH rating.

I'm really sad on the m.2 switch, as I just bought a nice big mSATA :(

The footnotes to the product sheet mention mSATA. However, that could just be a carry-over from the previous models.

A more practical test is whether M.2 versions of the WWAN cards exist. If not, Dell might have opted to stay with mSATA because of the dual function slot although they can put whatever format SSD they want (subject to thickness) into the 2.5" bay.

No, you're not the only one.

OTOH, it is showing dual pointer on the first couple models I pull up on Premier:
(and no option to buy single-pointer, which they have on the E7440.)

So there is some hope that these will be available on non-premier models. If you're really set on dual-pointer, give it a little while til some people have their hands on retail ones. :)

    E7250 is showing single-pointer, but I don't think they've offered dual pointer on a 12" model since the D-series.

I also can't find the model with the Nvidia chip on Premier yet. I imagine it'll show up sooner or later.
