You mean IDT drivers? Yes for sure.
You just need to adjust SRS feature within IDT control Panel.

Why for sure? They used to have annoying driver conflicts, are these still present?

I NEVER had any driver conflict on my side, on any IDT drivers.

they didn't have driver conflicts. older versions of IMSM were causing audio drop-outs.

The IDT audio driver produced weird sounding audio, so I uninstalled it. The MS driver works a lot better for me. I have an E6500 though if that matters.

I guess I will go ahead and install it. Does it actually offer better audio?

Much better, in my opinion. Especially that you have SRS to tweak the sound.

I took my E6400 out of my backpack to find a physical mark on the screen (appears to be some sort of indentation) and the screen now "ripples" on the side whenever I adjust the tilt of the monitor. It was very well protected with a sleeve and a padded laptop compartment in the backpack (which was not heavily loaded).

I chatted with Dell and they say that it is not covered under my warranty (NBD - 3 years, no CompleteCare) and that I would need to contact Out Of Warranty repair to get it fixed. Any thoughts or suggestions?
