Seeing as you can put 5100s or 5300 into D630s or 4965s into D620s, I don't think there's anything stopping a 6300 from working in an E6400. Dell doesn't do any of that wifi whitelisting that other manufacturers implement.

Awesome then i am going to order one from Provantage and try it out, i have been using a 5300 in my M6400 for about a year now and now i want to see better performance with a E6400 wireless, i am trading my xps 1340 with this one! Awesome, back to DDR2 again lol.

The following 1440 x 900 screens have been seen in the E6400: LG (actually LG-Philips, code LPL), Samsung (SEC) and, if my memory is correct, CMO and AUO. However, I don't know if all these are still in current use.

Mine is also an LG. There are some photos in my E6400 review.

My first E6400 had a Samsung, my current one has an LG. Both are very good screens and are very similar.

Yeah, I've got SEC and my mom has AUO. Mine is a fairly early machine, and hers is probably more mid-life. They're both okay as far as laptop screens go, but pretty meh on the whole.
