Care to link me the exact caddy you ordered?

I kinda need one so I can fit a 160GB 7200rpm as my main drive and put the 320GB 5400rpm as my data drive.

(I'd go SSD, but I currently don't have the money for one and I already have the 160GB 7200rpm lying around...)

I got this one for my 250gb hdd when I got a ssd as the main drive. It does not have the pull out mechanism and I tapped the one from my optical drive on it. It matches the color and contour of latitude E6400 perfectly.

Incidentally, Samsung 830 128gb SSD is also for $90 only at Amazon right now. Worth a buy!

Anyone know if the Dell 5550 WWAN mini card is compatible with our e6400 laptops? The 5530 is the option that Dell originally provided for our models. Also, anyone using the 5540 ?

Does anyone know what the part number is for the 2.0mp integrated webcam? I had though it was "K113P" but apparently that is the 0.3mp camera.

Has anyone installed Win8 on E6400 and how about the driver support?

Windows 8 works well on the e6400.

You will need to get the bluetooth drivers from e6430 win8 package. Also the fingerprint reader drivers and firmware from the e6430 WBF.

Install the finger print/controlvault firmware from windows 7, i don't think it works when you try it from win 8.

Will the E6400 ATG display assembly work with the normal E6400?

I am taking about hinges and display connectors.

Thank you for your reply in advance.

The ATG is just the normal E6400 with a heavy duty lid and some rubber covers. So yes, the ATG display assembly will work.

The XFR is a different chassis and nothing will work.

Is someone using a 65W adapter from a different brand? I got a real nice HP 65W travel adapter with USB Port (for my mobile) and the voltages, etc. fit. But when I use it, the CPU throttles, even with rmclock.
