    I just imaged an E6400 and oddly enough it came back with some unknown devices, anyone know what these might be? I thought it might be the Ricoh card reader, but that is installed and working, ditto on the sound card and everything else.

    A search on the vendor brought up Ricoh. But not the device.

    The Firewire (IEEE 1394) also uses the Ricoh chipset.

    That was it, thank you, strange our image did not know what it was, as we drop our image on E6400s tens of times a day with no problems.

    Its me again with the question:

    How do i know if i need to put a 3g card in order to have internet
    or do i need to put an antenna also
    i can take pictures of the connections

    If you have the antennae cables parked next to the WWAN card socket then all you need is a 3G mini PCIe card that is compatible with your local 3G network.
