I have that keyboard! I love it! Way better than a laptop keyboard. Quiet too.
If only Logitech made laptop keyboard for OEM's :(

I've put two of them on systems for other users... very sexy keyboard. I hope Logitech keeps making them long enough for me to splurge on one.

At Dell Canada, I saw the keyboard on really good special. I paid mine 50$. Which is for Logitech product, and the superb after sale and warranty service a bargain price.

Okay does BIOS see your hard drive? You should run diagnostics from Dell.

Press F12 at the BIOS screen and go into the BIOS setup. The HDD should be listed. Maybe the boot sector got nuked. The repair option of the Windows installation disc should be able to fix that.

Its been 2 years almost since I purchased my Latitude E6400 and I can honestly say that it has been one of the best buys I have ever made. Other than issues with the lid being easily scratched, the paint on the speaker falling off, and the crappy alps touchpad, the laptop has been awesome. It was definitely a great buy at 700 dollars shipped from the outlet.

Well I cashed the full price of the system, it's over 2 years, and the system runs and looks like new, cooling is excellent to a point I can overclock the of the video card without any heat issues of any kind. In addition, Dell Next buisness day on site made it totally worth it, especially that I can't afford to not have my laptop as a student. My next system will be a Dell.

WELL, I just read over this thread, and part one... I can now say, I'm buying a used E6400. That's my decision. Once the money comes into my account this week, I'm jumping on eBay and buying one!
