The reimage reference in my sig mirrors Dell's use of the term to describe re-installing (clean installing) the OS. It does not refer to a HDD backup image. Confusing, yes, but Dell started it.

If Ghost does not provide for editing its own backup image, then I'd be hesitant to use another tool.

    Super tight for me.
All I had to do was tight up the screws on the base once.

That doesn't sounds right at all.. their should be no "Click" sound, no mater how fast you go. Sounds like it was miss installed in the first place.

    modem cable in the screen?
Can you please be more specific... or less... I am confused,

Just had my whole Keyboard replaced.............. all because the little rubber thingy for my trackpoint, (they are actually called a trackstick), had basically turned to mush. So when I was trying to use the trackpoint, not much would happen because the trackstick itself had become spongy. I thought they would just send out a replacement trackstick, just the rubber thingy, but nope, they replaced the whole keyboard. Total time between reporting it and the replacement, 18 hours. It took a whole 10mins for the tech to replace, seemed like such a waste of resources to me, but I am not complaining.

The rubber nub as I call it has always been part of the keyboard in the Latitudes since back to the D600 or even earlier. Yes if that fails or turns into mush you must replace the entire keyboard. I don't use it and I would only replace my keyboard for a backlit one...wait I am!

i know its cool to have a backlit keyboard but you dont use it much
and ive heard it has more flex than the usual one

cyrus how did you manage to use the trackstick more than 10 seconds without getting angry?
