    hello folks,
is it possible to make the Nvdia GPU switch its clockrates more frequent? I always have to stress the GPU for some seconds to achieve smooth scrolling and fast transitions (in Win 7). I don't want to turn off powerplay since the powerconsumption increases with the fan always running hearble.

    Hi all,
I've considered to buy a used E6400 with Nvidia graphic card. My question is that if I use it only to surf the web for two or three hours, Do I feel any warmness on palm rest or other areas? I prefer the Intel graphic but the one that I can buy has Nvidia card. Thanks for your help.

No you don't feel the warmness.. unless in you are in hot room (ie: your heads are already sweating.. but that is kinda normal). The laptop is put on reverse, so that you don't have any processors that is under your palm rest or keyboard. The laptop manages heat very well.

However, if you JUST a system to surf the web for 1-2 hours.. please do not get this laptop... you can find MUCH MUCH cheaper systems, like the ASUS EEE PC or Dell mini or a netbook powered by Nvidia ION if you want more performance or Inspiron that will be well above such need.
