anyone have an explanation for why support for 1920x1200 screens were dropped? and it indeed looks like they won't be supporting DDR3 ram. I do not understand what possible logic there could be for that.

edit -- looks like the webcast isn't allowing us to watch the QA...

I suspect the E6510 and similar models will have DDR3, but 18 months for them!

Wow.. Just watched the webcast... Nice... :chatterbox:

EDIT: I remembered the speaker saying that 9-cell battery on the E6400 can clock close to 10 hours, but what about the 6-cell?

There never was going to be DDR3 on the Latitudes. There is no point at the moment anyways. It was a smart move since people can still use DDR2.

I agree, the price is great, but the ripple almost ruin it.

What do you expect the difference in battery life will be for an E6400 with and without the dedicated graphics card? Seems like a worthwhile upgrade for $70 as long as it doesn't hurt the battery life.

    I'm considering E5400.
Is 5.58 lbs/2.54 kg heavy to carry around?
I wish I could get E6400 but my budget is limited.
