Ok guys, so I am being told that the NDA's expired today for the companies that have been testing the new E series.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

And if it is true upload some pics ( a lot of pics) !!! :)

Also, what graphics cards do the test units have in them and what have your experiences been?

If the NDA's have expired then let it rip! :D

    Thanks!!

I don't think their going to have Quadros because the tech specs that were leaked a while back state that the gfx cards will be next generation. Since the current Quadros in the Latitudes are based on the GeForce 8400 the E series must have either the new mobile GeForce 9s or a new type of Quadro that has not yet been announced by Nvidia.

The Latitude M4400 (the new workstation version) is going to have the Quadro FX770m which is about a Geforce 9600m GT... I wish some news would come out about the E6400/E6500. Or a release date for the M4400.

i still think itll be the new NVS card, maybe the 510? but that is just speculation because the NVS is specifically the business line for nvidia

Do you have a source for that? The M4400 will be part of the Precision Mobile line that Dell hasn't detailed yet. The mention I know of is in the slides that Dell presented on July 29 in their webcast.

I agree with the others here about the new Latitudes carrying a Quadro NVS card. The Precision Mobile series will probably get the higher-end Quadro FX.

If the E6500 does come with the same NVS135 or 140 is it easy to upgrade to maybe a Geforce 9600M or something like that card after you purchase if you want your company laptop to have a little more kick when you are traveling around :D
