Also very curious if we are likely to see slimmer 17" precisions in the nearst future? Next gen may be?

The absence of dedicated Home/End keys and the smaller cursor up/down keys are the main reasons why I skipped the 7710. As software developer, I use those keys very frequently.

Thanks for the feedback on the keys. This is something that I'm addressing. Not sure if it made it to this gen or not. I'm checking.

The WX 7100 is basically RX 480, so it should be VR Ready as well, no?

We don't know yet if it's standard shape.

Please not, if that takes away even more storage options. Or make the dGPU optional and let us put storage in that free space ;)

Like others here 17" Precision for me is a dev machine which needs RAM and storage to host VMs.

If the iGPU drives one internal and two external displays I have no need for a dGPU. FHD and WUXGA is OK for me. Maybe one external 4K for testing HiDPI.

Replacing internal FHD with 1920x1200 would be a dream option...

The WX 7100 is Polaris 10, right? Not Tonga like the current w7170m?

Does the webcam support "Windows Hello" login with 3D facial recognition?
(If not, is that a feature under consideration for future generations?)
