Yeah, I get two options, one is to use Dell's System Detect to "guide me" to scan my laptop for updates that may be needed.

Or I can try to find updates on my own but it shows me same message you are seeing and nothing to download.

But I usually go to the master download list and just peruse it occasionally for updates:

I try to only get updates from the list if I think it will improve my quality of life

Looks like a bug on the support site, maybe...
    Try the list here: http://ftp.dell.com/published/Pages/precision-m7710-workstation.html

[Edit] - Didn't see @ygohome's post on the next page, points to the same place :p

Same. Updated bios and now laptop will not boot without switchable graphics enabled... If i disable it then I get the Loading Windows animation, then screen blanks out and does not come back.

I tried downgrading to the previous BIOS version but it did not help, screen still blanks at windows load if switchable graphics is off.
I have a tech coming over tomorrow to swap motherboards...

Tech just left and it now boots into Win 7 without having Enabled Switchable Graphics enabled, so it SEEMS to be working properly, but we'll see if that's the case tomorrow... or next week.
BIOS version on this board says 1.8.3. Weird.

The 7710 drivers page is back up.
I see they are still offering 1.14 BIOS, I would avoid...

Has anyone switched from a G2 ZBook to a 7710/7720? I'm considering one as my next work machine. I really love the 17 G2 build and quality and so far, I haven't been terribly impressed by the newer workstations. Please do share your experiences, thanks :)

Wow I've not been here for a few weeks and missed this reply. Mine I have downgraded back to 1.13 and updated bios 1.14.4 and same problem. Then I tried to downgrade and this time Bios does not let me, it remains at 1.14.4. I've contacted Dell, they Remote to update graphics driver but still the same. They are looking at it their side now and have yet to revert.

I wouldn't be so sure that this is a hardware or BIOS problem. While I don't normally run Windows, I observed (on a Lenovo P70, Quadro M4000M) that in discrete-only mode, with the latest W10 update, that the screen blanks out early on. It was also doing this with Linux, which made me suspect a hardware problem (in addition to under Linux the card went offline), and Lenovo replaced the graphics module under warranty.

With the original W10 installation, it booted into Windows just fine in discrete-only mode, but around the latest update is when that stopped working.

i have tried both, which is enable and disable graphics switch but they return the same results. You mean it could be a faulty graphics Nvidia card ?.
