I have 3 TB15 docks (support sent 2 non working replacements) and after 3 motherboard replacements (each with a different problem, with some without TB support), they changed the IO board that controls TB.

After that, one of the docks has been working flawlessly (fingers crossed). I tried one of the other two docks they've sent me, and it's not working.

Evidently there's been issues on both sides of the cable.

Apparently it had to do with the fingerprint reader drivers. Reinstalled them and hibernation got working again.

Just in case anyone has the same problem...

Picked up a M7710, specs in my Sig, 1200,00 CDN so very happy with the price

I am considering swapping the GPU to M4000.

Very nice laptop, I like it better than my MSI Apache Pro, higher quality build, and love the 2 M.2 Drives option

I'm going from an m4800 3200x1800 resolution, I think I want the m7710, is there a xeon cpu option and 64gb. Has anyone used both th m7710 and the p70 with 4k screens? Those are my 2 choices

There are mutiple xeons CPUs to choose from. You can get them with up to 64GB ECC or nonECC, though it would make more sense to get ECC if selecting a xeon.

The 4k display of the 7710 is quite exceptional in my opinion and if you research the AUO109B you'll find many favorable reviews. I've not used a P70 but I think I read it uses the same AUO display. There is some backlight bleed at higher brightness levels but not noticable to me unless my screen is entirely empty/black/blank.

Hi, recently purchased an precision 7710 from ebay and it came with a non backlit us keyboard. My next step is to change the keyboard for a backlit spanish one, but aparently te plastic frame/trim is diferent in the spanish one (the enter buttom is diferent, 7 shaped) and the 3rd party seller that i bought the keyboard from does not provide the frame. Does anybody knows the dell part number for the spanish frame? It seem to be the same as the UK one. Thanks!

Keyboards/frames are shared between many Latitude/Precision models - E5550, E5570, 3510, 7510, 7710. I didn't find frame with "Dell Precision 7710" wording on it, but if you don't care about these details, there are some frames for 7510 and E5570 on eBay, with 7-shaped Enter.

Radeon announced they will produce FirePro driver updates on a quarterly schedule starting today. I wonder if it applies to mobile FirePro.
