No i think you can not use it since it has 15mm form, the maximum capacity you can go for is 2TB (st2000lm007) with 7mm form

So my original 7710 was built with the 4K screen and the WWAN 4G LTE card. Dell is replacing the machine after a bunch of issues, but they are saying that combo is no longer available. My rep at the REC said they are not telling him why this combo is not available anymore, but it appears you can only choose either the 4k UHD or the WWAN card.

    Anybody have any ideas?

Alienware do have docking station, but you need to add a GPU inside. have a look at graphic accelerator for Alienware. given, the "dock" is a bit massive compared to pro docks.

Actually you should be able to use the Dell Thunderbolt dock with an Alienware machine (whenever they make it available again), or the Dell WD15 dock if it suits your needs. (Both can also be used with non-Dell machines, they just won't provide as much power, but you'll need extra power attached for such a beefy machines of this class anyway.) There are also other Thunderbolt dock options becoming available.

7710 will support G-Sync if graphics switching is disabled. Not sure about if graphics switching is enabled.

Anybody have a Dell OEM VBIOS for the Quadro M4000M with a version number higher than 84.04.6D.00.07?

Having issues with the card and want to try to re-flash.

Does it matter if the VBIOS is for a M5000M? I'm not sure if that matters or even how to get it to you. Let me know

    my adapter properties show this

    Bios Information: Version 84.4.6d.0.8
    Chip TYpe: Quadro M5000M
    DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC
    Adapter String: Quadro M5000M

You don't want to flash the VBIOS for a different model card. (However, you can dump the VBIOS to a file using GPU-Z.)

Thank you ygohome, but it would need to be the same M4000M.

As Aaron mentioned, you can use GPU-Z to submit your BIOS to their online database for your M5000M https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
