I just tried switching from RAID to AHCI in the BIOS. I was able to start the install process but then it went from 25% to 75% then gave me an error of "There was a problem resetting you PC". Now I have a wiped drive and can't install from the Dell provided USB.

Did you get back into windows after switching to AHCI before resetting windows?

If installing from scratch, try the ms download to make the usb instead of the dell.

After switching from RAID to ACHI, it wouldn't Boot to Windows. It had a similar screen to a BSOD and said it couldn't find the boot drive.

Dell offered to overnight me a new pre-imaged SSD or a new USB drive. I don't think another USB recovery is going to work if Dell isn't putting the required drivers for the NVMe drive...

before switching in bios to AHCI, did you set windows to boot to safe mode? if not, it will not boot into windows.

if installing from scratch, set to AHCI and use the ms download usb. it worked fine for me. no F6 drivers needed with AHCI.

fyi, after windows install you may need to install the network drivers from the dell site as well as some others. i think if you start with the network driver and connect to internet, windows will then start downloading updates and drivers. also, before the network driver is installed and no network connection, you may need to make a local account and can switch to ms account after.

i installed all dell drivers even for items windows might have downloaded a driver for first.

Microsoft download worked! Now off to the lengthy task of installing all the drivers...

Interestingly enough, Windows had the drivers for the Gobi 4G LTE card and I used that to download the network drivers.

Mustang, if you can post your consensus of the BIOS 1.4.14 upgrade issue you had and the resolutions, that would be awesome. As I'm afraid to even try the upgrade. My high level understanding/guess is that the issue is related to using non OEM SSDs (PM950 Pro?) and needing proper NVMe drivers and AHCI mode in BIOS after the 1.4.14 update?
