I tried to hardware flash my P5000 and it seems that there's write protection. I can't even get rid of it, tried to connect the clip without the WP pin and it still claims to be write protected. So I'm just stuck with the 100W TDP and the underclocking issue until there's another way or nvflash gets finally broken through for pascal and turing.

There's a nvflash command to turn the write protection off. You should be able to flash in Linux on the M6800. Full directions are in a post from @DynamiteZerg earlier in this thread.

    Hallo there.
Unfortunately the M6 does not provide any external video output.
Only option I did not try was to get connected through a docking station.Could be worth a try if you have one around.
Besides that the M6 works super on the M6800.
    Take care

You can't output any video on Tesla M6, they are not wired up to the mxm slot (a lot of missing smd), however you can use it on optimus laptop.

The Tesla card cannot output to a display directly. You can use it only with Optimus enabled, operating through the iGPU. In the M6800, the iGPU can only drive the internal display and VGA port, so you would be limited to those. In other laptops, it may be able to drive other display outputs. (I.e. in Precision 7710, you can also use the iGPU with the HDMI, mDP, and USB-C ports.)

the card isn't able to output video, lane are physcically cut, the only thing you can do is to use optimus, that way the video signal is carried through pcie connexion to the iGPU that display the video on a display.
