Rofl, funny you should say that. I just downloaded probably 15 different VBIOS versions from techpowerup and Eurocom. None of them matched my GPU, nothing changed.

I am about to reboot and try some windows 8 drivers.

I like challenges but damn, this one has got me.

    Edit - Windows 8 drivers were a no-go. o_O

They all will thrown an error, you have to pass an option to ignore the mismatch.

So I tried a few different bios versions but haven’t made any progress. Any chance anyone that who has theirs working with windows 10 would be willing to save their bios and share it? Or share what version number it is so that maybe I can find a copy of it?

    thanks.

Drivers I'm using are available here.
One is exported from my Windows installation and if your Hardware ID is:
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13D7&SUBSYS_15CD1028
It should be plug and play

Other is install file from github which someone posted few pages back
I've inserted my HW ID into nvmdi.inf, section 6.
Some1 modified installer and during installation it gives you option what to insert where and few other extra bits.

Link to my Google Drive -

P.S. Uploading as i wrote this so it might not be available in time of posting (1:38PM, GMT +2)

    vBIOSes of my 980M
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=1sAGU_7v7Lm384Mkm4OWDZGhk7eXE5Lvg

GM204Origigi.rom - vBios card came with
GM204UV2a.rom - my undervolted vBIOS with limited max turbo which in turn provided more stabile clocks, less noise and a bit better performance due to fact card was not throttling anymore

Other are some files i used to flash it. Use everything at your own risk :)

    Thank you very much!

I tried your files, bios and driver package. I still got the same bsod for video scheduler internal error.

I am thinking this is definitely a bad card. Hopefully this Chinese guy on fleabay will work with me

Little late to the party, but here's my nvdmi.inf file (445.87, win10, M6800, 980M) if you want to try it. I've been giving this arrangement a real workout with Doom Eternal.

Thank you for that. Because I wasn’t able to get it working I ended up finding a buyer for my laptop and ordered a bunch of parts for a mini itx build.
An RTX 2060 super build will be better than the gtx980, I just won’t be able to take it with me as easily when I hit the road.

Again, thanks everyone for the help while I tried the 980 upgrade.

Hi there.I can confirm that the M6 works only in my M6800 fitted with an EDP panel and motherboard. No idea about HP Zbook.
Also keep in mind that there is no external video output available so it is not possible to connect any external monitor to it.
    I hope this info helps.
    Kind regards.
