    It's not entirely clear to me if a stock Clevo 780m or an Dell OEM 780m will work in a Dell M6700 without any modifications (heatsink or video bios).
    Also the heatsink from the K5000m works great with the 780M? On the video card's back did you use a heat spreader for the vram or just a thermal pad? How thick was the thermal pad that you used?

    may be i have not enought skill but i have intel management error at boot

    my idea is it conflict with idt soundcard.any one know idt is on daughter board?

    Got myself a k5000m QS in m6600,pretty much plug and play except moving thermal pad around. Used a x bracket from a hp quadro 4000m.
    Got a funny boot screen before post saying it is for engineering release and not for production xd.

    Using driver from lv2g, running specviewperf to see if I get the quadro boost. Not sure how to mod dell or official one...zz
    Going to wait for new thermal pad before pushing it.

    Nope, left it on over night and can't turn back on xd, let s hope the card didn't kill itself...

    Pffft, back on after a power reset xxdddd

    Sorry to ask such a nuubi question i have looked online does anyone have a link to upgrading the ram on the M6700 Covet I will be upgrading to 4 8GB sticks of ram and i am not sure how to access the other two memory modules that i think are under the keyboard. Thank you in advance.

    Page 29 has what you want - you'll end up backtracking a bit to get at the DIMM slots, but it should be straight forward enough.
