    1) no pad on red zone, i add it on my own. Not critical parts. The top red zone requires thicker pad (maybe 2mm i cannot remember).
    2) cannot remember sorry. Original heatsink already come with thermal pad, i just add in some for the red zone and those in yellow zone but not 100% covered by original thermal pad.

    The top 2 square yellow zone is very important. I use too thick pad on top red zone earlier and that make the 2 yellow squares lose contact to heatsink, at the end burnt the card.

    I used the ones that were already on my k3000m. I did add new artic silver.

    I did have to heat gun off the xbracket but that was easy with a hair dryer.

    Maybe your best bet is to mod the inf file yourself if necessary? There is a guide here along with some modded inf files (by LaptopNut)..

    Hey buddy,

    I've got a Dell 780M 4GB in stock, you need to get 5 quality posts so you can use PMs!
    The K3000M heatsink is fine with whatever Kepler cards.

    I'm French actually :) just check your visitor messages, I'll drop you my email addy. The card is fully compatible with the M6700, check that thread in a polish forum: Dell Precision M6700 - Forum Notebookcheck.pl

    @Extremal
    I believe you have a M6600, in this case it won't work :( I have sold one to Lnd27 and it didn't work out in his M6600. The latest cards are more picky with the older gens laptop.
