Am I the only one to notice that the keyboard gets quickly full of fingerprints? The E6410 is not my first laptop and I've never seen that before.

    Thanks!

This is normal. It's very visible in black keyboard. The best are silver colored keyboard where you don't see anything, but they are ugly.
Backlit keyboard are even worse, due to their low plastic texture.

That's really unfortunate. So essentially it is because of the backlit keyboard? Because I've never seen black keyboards on a thinkpad or toshiba to get that full of fingerprints after a few minutes.

    Ok let me rephrase.
    - Black color keyboard for desktop or laptop, backlit or not, will show finger prints under strong light or very well lit rooms.
    - USUALLY backlit keyboards has low texture (the keys are fairly smooth to the touch), and that makes it shows more than a very textured laptop.

Use a micro-fiber cloth to clean the keyboard with ease.

I have the non-backlit-keyboard and it always looks clean. Can't confirm this at all. I have the german layout, and I don't think that there is a difference in the material compared to other country-layouts...

Yep, same here, no fingerprints visible after one year of usage and it has never been cleaned. My E6400 has a non-backlit keyboard (it's the same part as the E6410). Again, it's a Portuguese layout, but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

How about under a halogen light? I highly doubt you don't see anything, as halogen light shows any imperfections, including micro scratches.

Can you try the following file (see attachment)
(extract, and double click on the file). Save all your work before double clicking on the extracted file in the case it cause a system problem.

I use Everest to monitor GPU speed. Under Everest, on the side column, go to Computer > Overclock, and croll all the way at the bottom to see the current GPU speed.

Allow a minute having your GPU idle for the profile to set.

I'll try it. I don't have Everest, but the nvidia monitor should give the same values right?

Has anybody been able to get Bios A01 Patch 1 installed? I run in from within Windows (7 Pro x64), the setup starts and says it will restart so I hit ok, everything restarts fine but it's not updated. I can try running the new A02 Bios update and it says right away that A01 Patch 1 must be installed first and won't continue.

    Any thoughts?
