    Hello,

I have but it won't install for some reason. I get this error "The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will not exit".

I know for sure that I have nvidia nvs 3100m.

Ok, Nvidia drivers won't install because the NVS 3100M is not in the list of supported driver YET. Nvidia has a 1 driver to rule them all, approach (well per OS core version and if it's 32/64-bit).

Once the setup fails, you have the driver setup files in C:\NVIDIA. GO there, and paste & replace the following file (see attachments).

Hope this helps (I have not tested it ,as I don't have this laptop). Make SURE you uninstall the old Nvidia drivers first, and restart your computer, before installing the new ones.

I think my audio stutter is actually due to hiccups with my wireless card (streaming through wmp). Have to test local music yet. I do have DPC spikes but they don't usually cause real problems.

Anyone notice how hot this thing gets on your lap? According to CoreTemp my cpu stays at 44-49C at idle :/

A little warmer than my older, fatter, slower C2D. Maybe I shouldnt have opted for nvidia gfx :p

I have the normal non-backlit keyboard and it is by far the best keyboard I ever used, and I had a lot of notebooks in the last years. There is no sponginess whatsoever. I don't know how the backlit one is constructed, and if this is only your machine or all of them...

The Nvidia GPU downclocks to minimum automatically when you don't use the GPU. It's powerful enough to handle Aero without clocking higher. The problem is common for All Core i's series system... The problem is the CPU.
If I recall correctly the same was true for the Intel Core 2 Duo 1st gen.. it got much better with it's future generation. Same for the AMD Turion.. those first gen were real heaters.. now they are much much much better than before. so basically, your next Core i's series system, (if you hold your laptop for 3-4 year), should be operating much cooler than the one you have in your hand.
