    I get the impression that the battery slice blocked the bottom vents and impaired coolings, so that's why it was dropped after the E6400?

    No, I mean brand new in the "brand new" sort of way. They were purchased to be leased...and have sat, unused, for 6-8 months...no joke.

    The e6520's I just sold, had JULY 2011 build dates!

    Sorry I just got one on ebay. It was more that the specs I wanted for my budget, I feel I got a good deal so thats all that matters.

    Now I'm off to figure out drivers as it has win7pro 64bit now and I need to wipe and reload on the new SSD 32bit win7pro.

    Same situation here. Plus, the measure bar of the brightness control does not work if the ambient light sensor is disabled.

    Haha...that's funny. I think you can cancel the transaction and refund the payment, which should refund your eBay fees.

    Just purchased a Dell Latitute E6410. Waiting for it to get to me.

    Bought it used on a forum but with some great specs rather cheap, so pretty psyched.
