The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. Interesting. That did not stop them with E6400.

John bought the laptop for personal needs, NBR just benefited from it that is all. Dell had nothing to do with the review.

I meant several professional sites had reviews for the E6400 at very early stage. (laptopmag, pcmag). For E4200 and E4300 it's very quiet.

I'm looking at the following available options on the Dell US site:

Verizon Wireless built-in mobile broadband (EV-DO Rev A) with GPS [add $149]
Sprint built-in mobile broadband (EV-DO Rev A) with GPS [add $149]
    Integrated Webcam [add $30]
No Webcam or WWAN Capable add $0
WWAN Capable without a WWAN Card [Included in Price]

Does it mean that if I choose a WWAN device to be added, my E4300 will come without a Webcam? And if I choose Integrated Webcam, do I lose WWAN support (the antennas are built into the LCD bezel) since the other option seems to imply that only if I go without a Webcam, then I get WWAN capability?

When is Dell going to drop the price on E4300, just like the E6400?

Looks like Lenovo is taking Dell's example. The X200s is now rumored to come in around $2.2k!

For E4300, it is either Webcam or WWAN, you can't have both.

Is there any word on color options for these laptops??

Also, what is up with the backlit kb as I mentioned above. It doesn't appear to be an option.
