    I always install to the MBR...but you can install it wherever you want.....from the LiveCD...I actually install the miniCD with IceWM, then install XFCE......

    My 6700 covet is not visually bent, but for me to latch it I have to put pressure on the right latch for it to lock. If I put pressure on the left latch it does not seam to lock. I assume because the right side is not catching. Like that from when I received it.

    Can someone tell me where I can find the Optimus settings. I looked in the BIOS but can't seem to find it. Also I have the 3d display and K4000 card if that makes a difference.

    The 3d is routed through eDP so it can't have optimus.

    No, the Intel IGP can't display video on a 120Hz 3D display. In short, no Optimus, K4000M only.
