Mine was estimated to 28. Nov until the 28. came, and it was bumped to 15. Dec...
I sporadically got unconfirmed dates of 21. but 28,. was on the PO until it changed.

Well well, "he who waits" and all that...

Mine has been delayed as well. Original estimated delivery date was 3 Dec but it's now 11 Dec. Don't really know why this happened.

Hopefully Adobe will make the rest of their apps look as good as Lightroom 5 does.

Actually, you can disable it in Windows. It may still be running to pass data, but the overall effect seems to be that the K1100M is on all the time.

    Ran into an USB issue:
I was planning on using it for tethered shooting (Nikon D800) - however the 4,6m USB 3.0 cable I used with my Thinkpad (which worked fine) is not working with the M3800, a 3m cable is also not that stable in holding the connection. Tried all the USB ports but they all seem a little weak for actually regular cable lenghts.
I looked at the USB drivers, they all looked up to date.

Hopefully I'll figure it out somehow.

use someone the M3800 QHD+ for CAD like SolidWorks? Is the quadro K1100M good enouph for this solution?

Or is it better to buy the M3800 only with HD graphic? (for CAD)

Is it an extension cable that you are using with the camera's cable or just a single cable with USB on one end and mini USB on the other?

I have a long cable at the house. Will do some testing.

Checking out power from a couple of directions.

1 - Can you check all of the power management settings? Wondering if the USB is shutting down to save power.

2 - Wondering if it is an issue with all 4 ports being capable of high powered charging. With longer cables, there could be more susceptibility to the power wires interfering with the data wires on a poorly sheilded cable - in theory. I have not measured the USB port power output, but it seems to be around 2000mA vs the regular USB 500mA.

You might also want to check the connections on the cable and in the system to make sure they are completely clean. Just plugging and unplugging the cable should take care of this.
