I'm highly disappointed the keyboard still uses the annoying multi-purpose cursor keys. There's no reason that there is no room for at least Home/End keys-- perhaps right above Left and Right. For mobile workstation users (developers, etc) this is really useful.

Also, I sure hope that touchpad is not the same archaic PS/2 Synaptics touchpad in the M3800 instead of the new Windows 10 certified I2C HID "enhanced" ones. From what I've seen testing laptops in some stores, even the CHEAPEST no-name brand HID touchpad is superior to any ancient PS/2 one. Really interested in an answer to this. I believe the XPS 13 uses an enhanced HID touchpad.

Does the M3800 have optical out through the headphone port like the rMBP?

No. The only way I'm aware of to get digital audio out of the M3800 is to use a separate DAC via USB, or to split it from the video signal. HDMI splitters are pretty cheap, but I don't think you can do that without a monitor plugged in.

Sorry I'm not here to help you, but I'd just like to say that I noticed a drop in display quality as soon as Windows10 was installed (upgrade by Microsoft) and I've never sorted it.

it's like a system bug. brightness control work for a half. I "disable" intel 4600, now I'm work on nvidia. Brightness level on MAX and I can't change it. For now.
