While I'm waiting for my 7760, I can continue to turn my XPS 15 into a frying pan :)

Also, could you list your specs?
I'm interested in seeing benchmarks and also whether the "improved" cooling in the 7x60 systems are a noticeable upgrade from the last gen.

Could you give a list of common benchmark tests/softwares so that I can test my laptop on Friday?

Received my 7560 yesterday, 7/6/2021. System exchange through Dell ProSupport Plus for mother/daughter board malfunction-plagued 7510 in the last few weeks of its five year maximum support term (!).

    My Precision 7560 History:
    "Order" received: 6/14/2021.
    In Production: 6/21/2021.
"Shipped" 6/30/2021, but not actually "picked up" until 7/2/2021.
    Received: 7/6/2021.

There have been some questions regarding the specs of the ECC RAM Dell is using for these. My ECC memory specs are as follows:
Basic specs (from packing slip): 16 GB, 2x8 GB, DDR4, 3200MHz, ECC, SODIMM
Manufacturer (from wmic command): Samsung (reported by wmic as 80CE000080CE)
    Part number (from wmic): M474A1K43DB1-CWE
CAS# Latency (aka CL; from CPU-Z): 22 clocks.

A few other comments regarding various discussions/comments in this thread:

    - I highly recommend getting the Dell ProSupport Plus for as long as you can get/afford it. Note that you might be able to negotiate a better deal than they first offer you, and whatever term you purchase, they will offer an extension up to the maximum five-year service life of the system, but the renewals will be pricier (but again may also be negotiable). I had numerous occasions to use my ProSupport Plus service over my five years with my Precision Mobile 7510, and the cost paid for itself many times over. In general, the ProSupport Plus support technicians I worked with (almost exclusively US-based) were conscientious, knowledgeable, and professional.

    - If you do get the Dell ProSupport or ProSupport Plus service, you shouldn't be shy about holding Dell to its contractual promises. Technicians may suggest returning your laptop to "Depot" for service rather than sending out a tech, but they will honor the contract terms for next-business day on-site service if you stick to your guns. Once you send it in, you're out a system for however long it takes for them to receive it, work on it, and send it back. And the "Depot" department is almost impossible to communicate with - even for the ProSupport Plus techs.

    - If you ever find yourself with a problem-plagued system (as I did) and the subject of a "system exchange" comes up, be aware that Dell has an internal policy of "like or better" for ALL components of your system, but you may have to raise that issue with them when they first propose a replacement system. Under the terms of their policy, they can't get away with saying things like: "well, we're giving you a faster CPU, so it's OK that it is non XEON and won't support ECC RAM like your original CPU did", or "most of the components are equal or better, so it's OK that we're giving you an FHD display instead of your original system's UHD display." You may have to do some research on the Dell web site and confirm that a system that is "like or better" for all of your system's components is currently (or as in my case (about to be) available. And you also may need to be patient to get exactly the system you are eligible for. I had to wait 13 days from the date a system exchange was first mentioned before receiving an email about the first proposed system replacement specs, then an additional 33 days between formally requesting all "like or better" components and receiving my exchange system (in fairness, almost two weeks of that time was unavoidable, as the 7560 had been announced but not actually released when I made my request).

    - I would echo several commenters' thoughts about ECC RAM outweighing the relatively small price/performance penalty for these systems if they are going to be subject to frequent and/or heavy use. Over five years of daily use, my Precision 7510 experienced at least 10 memory-related BSOD events that were automatically corrected by the ECC RAM and the system without my having to do anything about it, other than read the startup error/correction message and wait for the system to reboot. Given how challenging and time-consuming BSOD events can otherwise be, I plan to spec out ECC RAM for all future "daily use" systems.

    - All of the above is just based on one user's personal experience. As always, YMMV.

Interesting. Could you please share the specs of your old 7510 and new 7560 ?
    Thanks.

One thing I find here is ECC RAM has CL of 22, while common CL for non-ECC RAM is 20.

I believe there is only 2 DGFF connector, it's already an higher end card (GA104 based).
Indeed 7x60 cards are very similar to 7550 card, however heatsink need to be replaced... maybe they changed the cpu position too ? that's why it's "not compatible", because no heatsink can fit the CPU and GPU architecture ?

I also had an EXTREMELY problem-plagued 7740, and Dell have finally agreed to replace it with a 7760.

    Main spec differences:

    i9-9980HK >> i9-11950H
RTX4000 >> RTX A5000 (I kept on at them until they agreed to this - there were a lot of problems and delays in the replacement process so I asked for compensation)

In case it helps anyone, most of my conversations with support were via Whatsapp, but your options are very limited there - they seem to have very little authority. It was only when I phoned them and got through to a Precision business support specialist that anything actually progressed.

A little bit confused about this. If the memory errors were corrected, wouldn't you expect to not to see a BSOD and be required to reboot?
