Use HWinfo to monitor temps as well as CPU and GPU wattages during these tests.
Blender: Please do CPU and GPU tests for at least the following scenes: BMW and Classroom. When it asks you to select devices, do those 2 benchmarks separate times, each time using the following devices: CPU, GPU CUDA, and GPU Optix. The other benchmarks might crash the GPU since the A2000 only has 4gb VRAM.
Prime 95 (CPU) + FurMark (GPU): Run both at the same time for ~15 minutes and measure the CPU and GPU wattages after the 15 minutes
Cinebench R23: Do single core and multicore tests. It will take 10 minutes for each test to complete.
Cinebench R20: This is a quicker test to see how high the CPU can turbo to.

You should also do a system benchmark on userbenchmark.com It's very quick to do, and although some people in this forum don't like the website since of their opinion about AMD, it's useful to quickly compare whole systems against each other.
Note: Perform all of these tests with Dell Power Manager thermal management set to "Ultra Performance".

If you don't feel comfortable performing these benchmarks, no worries. Just do what you are comfortable doing.

I think it's pretty hard to find non-XMP laptop RAM with CL values lower than 22. The lowest latency non-XMP 3200mhz RAM that I could find was the normal Crucial RAM with CL22.
If anybody found 3200mhz non-XMP RAM with a CL value below CL22, let me know.

Gen 4 SSD's will always be in the Gen 4 slot, under the quick access door. This will also be the boot drive if multiple drives are ordered.

For the best possible performance, go into the BIOS and turn off switchable/hybrid GFX. This will cause a higher battery usage when running on battery but all GFX will be done on the discrete GFX card. Also, as stated above, you should set the system to Ultra Performance either in the BIOS or in the Dell Power Manager software.

Thank you for your answer, good point.

These RAM modules "should" also work, right?

Those modules were not stable on the Precision 7740. I attributed it to be an issue with some of the following
    1. 1.35v required which the mobo does not support / could not run stable at.
    2. Incompatible programmed subtimings for the modules in the XMP profile.
    3. RAM slots configured in T-topology vs daisy chain (this can cause limitations in desktop boards as well for instance).
    4. Latency of XMP profile was simply too low (<11ns) for the mobo's physical capabilities (length of memory traces, noise on the sodimm slots, etc).
    5. Motherboard high-performance modes are tuned for Samsung modules (Samsung B-die 2666 CL15 works very stable, for instance).

All of this may have changed and the board design is different with the 7760, so it would not hurt to buy a set of the modules and try them just in case. Be sure to thoroughly stability test before your return period runs out.

They might not work, but as mentioned above, there is a chance that it might work.
So far, I know that the normal Crucial (3200mhz, CL22) is pretty much guaranteed to work in the new systems. Anything else with much lower timings has a smaller chance of working due to the possibly of needing XMP in the bios. But CL22 isn't the best latency.

I would say, if you have the time to try the RAM, go ahead and try it. If it works, you will get a performance increase vs higher latency RAM. And if it doesn't work, then you can return it. Compared to the normal Crucial RAM (CL22), the price is nearly identical so if it works, you will be getting "free performance". But only order the RAM when you are sure that your system will be arriving very soon, or else you might not be able to return the RAM.

Thank you both for the advice, I'll probably test them as you suggested :)

I find it interesting that these sticks are less expensive than in the configurator:

    https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/sho...sodimm-3466mhz-superspeed/apd/ab640684/memory

They may not be as good latency as the HyperX or Ballistix, but would be guaranteed to work and should be tied to the system warranty they are used in. Sometimes less hassle is a virtue with machines like this.
